Game Lore

The world of the game is shaped by the balance between human activity and nature. Over time, neglect and unsustainable actions have damaged natural ecosystems, putting wildlife, vegetation, and water systems at risk. The player enters this world as a guardian of sustainability, he will have to close the floodgates of the Pilastre gatehouse. Unfortunately, when he enters, the door closes because of the storm. Once inside, he will have to restore the electricity and solve different puzzles in order to close the floodgates of the abandoned facilities and save the residents of the downstream river areas.

The game focuses on sustainability related to the following elements:

Vandalism: Intrusions cause damage to security measures (padlocks), interfere with a safe space for bats, and involve the manipulation of mechanisms or installations.

Invasive flora: Exotic plants cause disruption to the environment in several ways. Colonizing plants spread more quickly, degrade the environment by causing soil erosion, lead to a lack of undergrowth, and alter wildlife.

River connectivity: Reduced flow causes various problems for wildlife, especially for fish, as it interferes with their upstream and downstream movement along the river section. When barriers are created, they must be demolished, but this is not always possible.
